8. Strength
There is no fear when you look at the woman in the Strength cards. She isn’t a hulking woman; it’s not that kind of strength. This is more of an inner dynamic- an inner strength. This is the ability to overcome.
Perhaps since the lion appears in both versions of this card, it’s a signal of animal instinct. “Taming the beast” could mean so many things, but if you remember from The Lovers card, we must approach each decision with love.
I often feel this card as a signal that we need a strength to forgive. Forgive ourselves, forgive others, set yourself free from the burden you might carry. Forgiveness doesn’t mean accepting something that was wrong. It means allowing yourself the ability to move forward from the lesson.
You have the strength to overcome whatever is in front of you. You have infinite potential as shown by the infinity symbol. The lion has been a symbol of courage. Find that courage within yourself!
